There are classic books that are worthy of reading more than once in a lifetime such as Lord of the Rings, Beloved, Catcher in the Rye, Possession, etc. Little, Big is on that list. This is an epic work of fiction that has such an amazing sense of place filled with details so remarkable I found myself rereading page after page. I have a hardcover copy that I keep near my bed and often pick it up and just start reading at any random place. It is the tale of a family history and the making of a house, filled with magic and wonder. This is not, however, a quick read. It should be savored and poured over and every word fully digested. This will go down as one of the greatest fantasy novels of the 20th century. ~ Reviewed by Whitney Kaaz
