Somewhere Beyond The Sea is a perfect book. And no, not just because Arthur is the main POV this time around (although, that certainly does gain it extra points). Or because reuniting with this eclectic family was like coming home after being away for too long. Or because Linus and Arthur are the most perfect couple ever written and watching the two of them interact literally gave me life. While all of those things may be true, what makes this a perfect book is that it just feels SO important right now. Equal parts humorous, wholesome, and heartbreaking, this book somehow manages to be even better than its predecessor, making this return to Marsyas Island everything I could have hoped it would be, and so much more. Somewhere Beyond The Sea is like a supportive hug in a difficult world, and it reminds us to have courage—courage to keep up the fight; to keep being our genuine selves, without apology; to find our people and value them above all else; and the courage to hope for a better, more accepting, tomorrow. ~ Reviewed by Tara Ludwin

I'm having a harder time finding the right words to encompass my love for this book than the code breakers of Bletchley Park had trying to decode Enigma. This story has a little bit of everything-- two engaging protagonists that come to life from their very first pages, a heart pounding family mystery nested within a race against the clock of dire global consequence, and endearing relationship arcs between all of our characters. This book is going to be perfect for anyone who loves reading about World War II, but wants to experience a new side of it. While the war looms in every shadow and corner, ever present and always pushing in, the characters must fight with their wit as a weapon, and watching them in action was just as exciting as any fight on the battlefield. ~ Reviewed by Tara Ludwin

I had a lot of fun with this book. It had me laughing out loud at parts, and squealing like a fangirl at others. Sometimes both at the same time. Making the holidays their own kingdoms was such a unique way to make court politics light and fun. This book doesn't feel like it's taking itself too seriously, while still letting the characters feel real, deep, and complex. Yes, it's cheesy. Yes, it's ridiculous. But, man, was it such a good time. ~ Reviewed by Tara Ludwin

This is F.T. Lukens best book yet. A sweet romance, a wholesome found family, and just the right amount of vengeful supernatural beings to spice things up. This book will give you all the feels. ~ Reviewed by Tara Ludwin
