Describing Name of The Wind is a lot like describing your favorite song to someone, there is more to it than just the lyricism, the vocals, and the instruments, it’s about the feeling you get when you hear it. Patrick Rothfuss’ writing is very similar, it’s not just about his prose or the characters, or the world, this book is a song, and more than that it is a feeling. ~ Reviewed by Jordan Starks

Saga is a lot of things, it’s a found family story with a lovable and ever-growing cast of characters, it’s an epic space odyssey of two warring planets and the people who are caught in the crossfire, and it reads almost like a fairy tale at times. This story follows the adventures of Marko and Alana, two former soldiers of opposing sides in a never-ending war that spans the entire universe, and now they’ve just had a child. Both on the run and trying to give their daughter the best possible life they can, it'll take them all over the galaxy making friends running from enemies, and watching their daughter grow. This comic holds a very special place in my heart and for very good reason, there's something in here that everyone can appreciate and enjoy. Finally coming off hiatus after three years there has never been a better time to jump in and get caught up. ~ Reviewed by Jordan Starks

Belief is a very powerful thing, it can inspire the hopeless, start wars, or spark revolutions. But what if it had the power to change reality itself? There exists a secret branch of the government, the aptly named Department of Truth, who are tasked with controlling the spread of conspiracy theories because with enough belief, theorists can shift the scales making the theory into reality. Imagine how much damage it would do if enough people suddenly believed that the world was flat? With enough belief suddenly we could fly out to the void at the end of the world and stare off into nothingness, that is the world our protagonist Cole Turner finds himself in, after seeing the power of belief first hand at the edge of the world he is approached to join the Department of Truth, but controlling the narrative has been happening for longer than Cole realized and he’ll soon find out the truth can be just as dangerous as the lie. ~ Reviewed by Jordan Starks
