Enzo and his owner, budding race car drive Denny Swift, are both fans of race cars, television and each others' loyal companionship. Though he is a dog, Enzo is a philosopher who believes that the point of life isn't to go fast. Sometimes we should steer through the turns and enjoy the feel of the wind on our ears. Though it deals with adult themes of death and dying, this book is popular among my young adult students. ~ Reviewed by Bonnie Winchester
