The hours do include weekends and occasional evenings, involve some computer literacy and the willingness and aptitude to learn. It can be quite fast-paced. An upbeat and positive personality is important.
Positions and roles include Retail Bookselling, Managing, Merchandising and Inventory Stocking, Shipping and Receiving, Web & Order Fulfillment; Customer Service, Administration, Bookkeeping and Facilities Upkeep and Management. Many positions are hybrid and cross-trained. We are not always hiring for each category but endeavor to work with the right candidates. We also strive to innovate and grow both as a company and as people and new perspectives are invaluable.
