Pulitzer-Prize winning author Elizabeth Kolbert is appearing at Manchester Community Library in a special ticketed Green Mountain Academy for Life Long Learning (GMALL) event, and Northshire Bookstore will be on hand with copies of her books.

Over the last half-billion years, there have been five major mass extinctions. The last of these, caused by an asteroid impact, did in the dinosaurs.
