Have you ever been curious about what the working life of a long haul van line driver might be like? The author takes us on a witty, humorous, and informative cross country trip with him. His first exposure to trucking resulted in his decision to drop out of college to spend the next 30 years as a high-end “bedbugger”, showing us a life few of us know about, with funny and poignant stories of the people he moves. A delightful, informative romp! ~ Reviewed by Tambra Johnson Reap

What I wouldn’t give to be given the opportunity to up and move to Tahiti. Turnball was given such a chance when her husband was relocated there for work. She discusses the realities of living on a beautiful, yet isolated island, as well as becoming acquainted with customs that are not your own. Turnball lets the reader in on some very personal moments in her life, whether it be her quest and ultimate struggle to have children or how alone she feels at times. She writes with such vivid imagery that from page one I felt as if I were joining her on her daily swim in the lagoon adjacent to her house. A lovely look into a couple of years in Sarah Turnball’s life. ~ Reviewed by Misha D'Andrea

I absolutely adore Lucy Knisley's artwork as well as her hysterical commentary. As her and her mother both face life changing milestones (graduating college, turning 50), they spend a month together sightseeing in Paris. "French Milk" is Lucy's travel journal of the trip. Funny, heartwarming and relatable. ~ Reviewed by Jess Elder

When her elderly grandparents book themselves on an tropical cruise, Lucy gets recruited to accompany them. This travelogue is a touching, compassionate, and at times very funny look at mortality, generational differences and family. A very sweet read with such great illustrations! ~ Reviewed by Jessica Elder
