#IRememberAddie & I am very sad after reading this beautiful book.
In 1714, Addie LaRue pleaded to the shadows of the woods for a life of freedom. The darkness complied, and they struck a deal; she would remain young and healthy forever, but the cost was that no one would ever remember her. For three hundred years, Addie goes about the world alone and forgotten, desperate to leave a mark but determined to not give herself up to the darkness, until one day she meets Henry, a bookstore worker, and he says the words she has yearned to hear: “I Remember You.”
Fantastical, romantic and heartbreaking, I was left speechless and sobbing by the last chapters. The writing is lyrical, the stories unforgettable, with major themes on the fear of being alone and a hunger to leave your mark. Definitely an emotional read, but worth the tears. ~ Reviewed by Kirstin Swartz

A fantasy series in a class of its own. The Witcher follows the escapades of Geralt, a genetically-modified monster hunter in a war-torn realm inspired by medieval Europe. With a cast of lovable, witty, courageous, infuriating, and impressively human characters, The Witcher series is filled to the brim with surprising moments of belligerence and tenderness. With the new show premiering on Netflix, there’s never been a better time to get started on these classic books. ~ Reviewed by Digby Baker-Porazinski

Here's the thing with this book. Just picture Hogwarts but with carnivorous monsters, no professors, failure means certain death, and a sarcastic main character named after a Lord of the Rings elf. That grabbed your attention didn't it? A Deadly Education is the dark magic story nobody knew they needed. It's creepy atmosphere is perfectly balanced with Galadriel's sarcastic attitude, making for some pretty hilarious scenes. You don't want to miss this book! ~ Reviewed by Cassidy Washburn
