Absolutely tremendous! A nature diary by a young man who writes so entirely from the heart, and reminds us of the joy to be found in the everyday awe that nature gifts us. I can't recommend this book enough! ~ Reviewed by Becky Doherty

Emezi encapsulates a world of despair, luxury, loss, love, death, courage, and, almost conclusively, resilience. With ennobling honesty, they wind the reader into their innermost thoughts. This book is a journey through a tangle of life connections, spindly webs that threaten to collapse in on themselves as Emezi flirts with mortality. ~ Reviewed by Maya Bon

This nonfiction graphic novel is an AMAZING story not just telling, but showing the perspective of what it’s like to grow up in the wrong body. This book is not for the easily disturbed, as it shows the horrors that can be gender dysphoria, both internally and externally. Do not let that discourage giving it a try, though. I strongly believe this book should be read by everyone, especially those in the transgender community. I have never related and felt more understood by a book in my life. Educational, emotional, and everything you need to experience to put yourself in the shoes of those who struggle with these situations everyday. Highly recommend. ~ Reviewed by Jules Wagner

This memoir blew me away. This is the personal and very intimate story of learning how to live around and through a devastating and protracted illness; learning how to survive the cures. Doctors can treat the body but surviving (and thriving) the trauma of mind, spirit and heart are the crux of existence and this memoir deftly and beautifully examines each aspect of Suleika's (who was diagnosed at 22) journey. ~ Reviewed by Maeve Noonan

Broken (In the Best Possible Way) is at once a hilarious memoir while also having a serious undertone. It deals with tough topics such as depression, death, covid, and many more. If you are a fan of Jenny Lawson, you will love this book. I would also highly recommend the audiobook for this since it is narrated by Jenny Lawson herself, making the reading/listening experience 10 times better! ~ Reviewed by Cassidy Washburn
