Auntie Claus

She's mysterious and elegant, and darling. She has Christmas cookies all year round! Who is she? And what does she have to do with the BB&G (the Bad Boys and Girls) list?

Brilliant, unique illustrations perfectly complement a traditional Yuletide tale in Tasha Tudor's The Night Before Christmas, written by Clement Moore. The cameos of artwork, surrounded by a snowy, sparkling sky, are reminiscent of Ms. Tudor's own lifestyle. True to form, corgis and an extended cast of wildlife inhabit the landscape and play an important role as they usher in, and entertain, the elfin St. Nick. Ms. Tudor has written and illustrated numerous children's books, but this may well be the most enchanting of them all. ~ Reviewed by Jessica Wood
