This book is the first monograph on Ignacy Jan Paderewski as composer. It reveals the evolution of his style and aesthetics in context of European music culture of the second half of 19th and first decades of 20th-century.
About the Author
Boguslaw Raba is a musicologist and concert-organist. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Wroclaw (Poland) majoring in Music Theory and Organ. Afterwards he worked as a lecturer at the Academy of Music and is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Musicology of the University of Wroclaw.
