Staff Reviews

This nonfiction book presents in a simple and informative way to show the animal kingdom in all their glory while they use tools. You learn what is considered tool-using and what is “just” instinct. You see how the same species will adapt their tool uses to their specific environments. We see how animals find food, protect, and build sleeping nests. From chimps to crows to fire-forging raptors, kids and kids at heart can enjoy learning. — Jeanette
