An aloof, tacticturn Bard named Hum searches for his wife in a magical, post apocalyptic wasteland, aided by a mutant (and exceedingly violent) unicorn. All his hope centers on his wife, and his otherwise jaded attitude continually gets him into trouble. The author weaves long, heartfelt letters to his missing wife amid the ongoing dialogue, and creates an excellent portrait of a complex protagonist. But enough about the story - this book is downright stunning. The artists somehow wrestle a kaleidoscope of neon colors into a cohesive gorgeous book. Every page is jaw dropping and well worth staring at. I loved it from the beginning, and the artist alone has earned my undying admiration. Crazy and wonderful in every aspect - I'll be exploring this book for a long time! — James Case
