The second book of the Into the Fescrement series, Phishing for Normalcy goes beyond the scope of New Orleans before Hurricane Katrina, venturing across the country with the Phish tour in a twisted story of love that is lost. This book coincides with the Princess Ventures Trilogy, as well as Black Widow, giving a more realistic look behind the scenes of the books which were fictionalized with mythological creatures. In a journey of self discovery, our heroine ventures to find the answers within her heart, discovering that sometimes things happen for a reason.
About the Author
This is the 78th book of author Marisa L. Williams, who has worked as a writer, photographer and editor for newspapers, magazines and website. Williams earned her Master's in Writing from the Johns Hopkins University, and she received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toledo, an interdisciplinary degree blending pre-medical and pre-law studies to emphasize Forensics. She is a licensed real estate agent and a jewelry designer who divides her time between Michigan and Florida. Though journalism, she has covered such events as the 100th running of the Chicago to Mackinac race, the Heineken Regatta in St. Maarten, the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Waldrock Festival in the Netherlands, as well as the Testicle Festival in Montana. She toured the country as a Harley girl on Ozzfest in 2002, worked in films and traveled the country again following Phish. In 2006, she attended a Writing Conference in Florence, Italy, and she was a speaker at a leadership conference when she graduated a year early from high school. At 19, Williams had a cliff diving accident where doctors told her she'd never walk again, but she was able to prove doctors wrong. She credits the accident for making her realize that writing is her calling. Though she still has three discs out of place in her spine and arthritis throughout her body, she enjoys water sports, yoga, dance and singing.
