I picked up a copy of this for my first apartment and it’s amazing! This is a cookbook that sort-of-but-not-really home cooking people like me can handle: simple, inexpensive recipes for every meal of the day that are healthy, but not too healthy. Each recipe catches your eye and makes your stomach growl in anticipation. This is a great cookbook for someone who doesn’t have a lot of time in the day (for example, I work everyday of the week and am rarely energized enough to make a fancy schmancy meal) but wants to eat healthier and make their own meals that they can be proud of. My favorite section of the book had to be the breakfast recipes! ~ Reviewed by Kirstin Swartz
