I JUST REALLY LOVE THIS SERIES!
What an EPIC conclusion to one of the most amazing book series I've ever read. It's crazy to believe that this all started with Deborah Harkness wondering what a more grown up version of Twilight would be like if she mixed in her historian knowledge.
The third book in the All Souls series takes us back to present day with Diana and Matthew, who are now expecting twins and the Congregation (and other mysterious foes) are still trying to take their happiness away. What this book did that was different from the previous two books was SEPARATE Matthew and Diana for a big chunk of the story, which was as hard for me as I'm sure it was for them. I love this couple so much guys, I just want them to be happy.
The conclusion to this three-book journey for Diana and Matthew ends the only way it can: bloody, brilliantly, beautifully. Nearly everything is tied up nicely and I definitely DID cry when I closed this book. I highly recommend this series! ~ Reviewed by Kirstin Swartz
