AWESOME BOY ...YOUR ROCKY!
Joanne  on 2011-09-02 02:12:50

Hi Old Pal, Just finished reading Rocky's book for the 4th time and cried and laughed and remembered my Benny. I know they are having one heck of a time over RAINBOW BRIDGE. Thinking of you and Hobo. Hugs to the "big guy." Hope you are well and safe after the onslaught of IRENE! Jo Your Ontario Buddy

Anonymous has it wrong

I think anonymous is missing the point. Stephen King it ain't but it's fun, funny, poignant and for a great cause...anyway I'm glad they bought it...their money goes to the cancer fund!

Okay.

This book is o.k., but it is nothing to write home about.

This book could have been written about my Westie who likes to chase chipmunks. Yes he has trained me well. As I read I laughed and yes cried. A wonderful book that makes you feel good.

A Book That Every Dog Owner Should Read!
Caroline Kent on 2010-08-11 11:49:37

A truly heartwarming story that captures the soul and spirit of a delightful American Cocker Spaniel - Rocky (AKA The Chipmunk Chaser). Every dog owner should read this book, not just to learn about Rocky's life but to understand how a dog truly thinks!

A must read for dog lovers and those yet to be

Rocky has taught his master well and he teaches and entertains the rest of us in this autobiography. You will not want to put it down until you've taken in every line of its wisdom. I look forward to putting his lessons to use asap. You and your kids will enjoy and learn a lot from this book!

Happy...and Poignant!
Norm on 2010-07-19 10:31:56

This was a great read, particularly being an owner of a wonderful pet, my Cavachon, Furby. The author, Rocky, captures the essence of what "a dog's life" is all about, and it makes me smile to think about how Furby has trained me, not the reverse. I loved the ending, even though it brought emotion that I didn't expect, and I now take Furby's face in my hands every morning and tell him how much I love him...and I am positive he gets it!!! You will enjoy this book, and the end result is for a wonderful cause!

Delightful book

What a wonderful book, brilliant illustrations and all in a good cause! Thank you Rocky for making me laugh and cry and helping pets with cancer. You must have been a lovely dog.

Great book for all ages!!
Mary on 2010-05-26 11:21:52

As a fellow dog-lover, I throughly enjoyed this book. It's cleverly written from Rocky's perspective and includes "lessons learned" at the end of each chapter. The book is both funny and heartfelt. After finishing the book, I have a whole new appreciation for my dog's unconditional love! I plan to give this book as the perfect gift for all ages!!

Fun Book for Adults & Children!!!
Rich C  on 2010-05-26 02:20:28

The autobiography of a chipmunk chaser was a very fun to read book, written in a very unique perceptive of Rocky the dog. Buying this book is also a great way to give back to animals in need of cancer treatment. My 3 year old son Jake also loved all of the fun illustrations and can't put the book down!!! Bottom line is get the book, it is fun for adults and children and benefits a great cause....A++

I managed to get an early review of this book and really loved the concept of a dog training people! Lots of fun and all for a good cause. Thanks Rocky!

Lovely book

This is a very funny and poignant book written by Rocky who trained his owners as all dogs do and taught many lessons during his life. The fact that the proceeds are going to help fund cancer care for dogs make this a special book and a great gift for dog lovers everywhere! Great fun to read!
