Augustine (named after the famous painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir) must move to the North Pole, because her father has a new office there. She packs up her toys, but mom says that is only the tip of the iceberg. There are closets to empty and suitcases to pack. When they finally arrive at the North Pole there are houses to buy, a strange bedroom that she can't fall asleep and a new school to worry about. But with a little creativity, Augustine is able to have a very good first day of school. A wonderful story about moving and the problems a young child might face. Wonderfully colorful illustrations by Watt move the story along and if viewed carefully, there are nods to famous works of art throughout.
