Arlo Gets Lost

Kids will joyfully welcome back Arlo, the delightful little armadillo from Just Like Me and Arlo Makes a Friend.

Windy days are kite daysand Arlo and his friend Jack are having fun flying theirs all the way to Jupiter and Mars.” But when a gust of wind blows Arlo’s kite into a tree, he wanders off by himself to find it. Suddenly thunder booms, the rains pour down, and poor Arlo’s all alone, lost in the woods.

Will Arlo be able to use his wits, and his special armadillo skills, to get back home again?  

 

Wendy Wax has written many books for children including City Witch, Country Switch, and Even Firefighters Go to the Potty. She grew up in Michigan and moved to New York where she worked as a children's book editor for several years. Wendy is also a collage artist, and lives in New York with her family.

 

Adam Relf studied illustration at Kingston University, England. Fox Makes Friends (Sterling, 2005) was his first children’s book, followed by Just Like Me and Arlo Makes a Friend (both Sterling, 2008). He uses a combination of acrylic, watercolor, and digital media to create the finished artwork.
