Polly and her beloved grandmother Baba have a very special relationship with the wooded area behind their homes. When Polly's sister (Bree) runs away one night, this starts Polly believing even more strongly about the magical world of the wood that include fairies and real magic. Polly, her grandmother and soon some new friends must try and convince the town and Polly's parents to save the magical world Polly and her friends come to know and love as Girlwood.
