Now is the Hour
is set in 1967. Seventeenyear
old Rigby John
Klusener has left his
home and family and
is hitchhiking his way
cross country to San
Francisco with flowers in
his hair. While walking
along the highway
"groovin'" on the gravel,
he tells his tale of how
he arrived at this spot
in his life. Rigby John
is a lovable character
who grew up on a farm
in Idaho, lost, lonely
and suffering from an
extreme Catholic guilt
complex who slowly
discovers friendship,
love, sex and rock 'n roll
during a very colorful
tumultuous era. I was
hugely entertained by his
story and being a child
of the 60's, it was a stroll
down memory lane!
