Northshire Bookstore Review(s)

Reviewed By... Jeanette

You think you know the story of George and the Dragon, but this tale has some fun twists and turns. This dragon is fierce, tough and can take out forests or a castle without hardly a thought. But he has one secret--a small secret. George is a small mouse. He just wants a place to live and some sugar for his tea. What he gets is a surprise to even him. Funny and great illustrations accompany the story that your small one is going to want.

Publisher Comments

Chris Wormell‘s other books include: Where I Live and What I Eat, Blue Rabbit and Friends, Blue Rabbit and the Runaway Wheel, and Animal Train.

From the Trade Paperback edition.

Far, far away in the high, high mountains in a deep, deep valley in a dark, dark cave lived a mighty dragon. He was an awesome and frightening creature who terrorized whole armies, destroyed castles, demolished forests, and kidnapped princesses. But this mighty dragon had a deep, dark secret. . . .

“Delightful. . . . Wormell writes with drama and style, and his humour is emphasised by his watercolours of the serious mouse George.”
