Robyn Scott was homeschooled until she was fourteen, when she began boarding school in Zimbabwe. At university in Auckland, New Zealand, she earned a B.Sc. in bioinformatics. She was awarded a Gates Scholarship to Cambridge University, where she received a master's in bioscience enterprise. Scott currently lives in London, where in her spare time she is establishing an AIDS orphan charity with her mother. She is twenty-six years old.
