Harper Lee�s timeless story, To Kill a Mockingbird, was beautifully transferred to the screen by director Robert Mulligan and screenwriter Horton Foote. Gregor y Peck won an Oscar for his portrayal of Atticus Finch, a highly principled lawyer who, against mighty odds, defends a black man accused of raping a white woman. Much of the story is seen through the eyes of Atticus' two children, Scout and Jem.
