Dexter The Complete First Season

Original and unusual Showtime series about a highly-skilled blood pathologist for the Miami Police Department who uses his expertise to get away with murder -- a lot of murder! Part black comedy and part compelling mystery. It will probably have you hooked by the second episode, so set aside a fair chunk of time. Dexter is not for the squeamish, although as far as the gore is concerned, it isn't appreciably more graphic than what is depicted in the CSI type of commercial television programs.
