Richard Jenkins (Six Feet Under) plays a middle-aged college professor who is just going through the motions of his life when he becomes involved in the U.S. government's attempts to deport a young musician back to his native Syria. Topical and involving. No matter what your opinion might be of illegal immigration in America, this movie packs an emotional wallop. Directed and written by Tom McCarthy, who also made the splendid Station Master in 2003.
