Dr. Junger's book and 21 day Clean Program have completely changed the way that I view and interact with food. I am on day 16 of the 21 day program and I feel amazing. I have lost weight, increased my energy level two-fold, and have begun cooking the most wonderful meals for myself and my family. If I had known that cleaning up my diet would yield such wonderfully healthful results I would have done it yeas ago. ~ Reviewed by Cheryl Cornwell

This is a masterfully researched biography of one of the pioneering mothers of the women's rights movement. Beginning with her birth in Townshend, VT, Nichols' biography spans the length of her life highlighting her advocacy for westward expansion and her work for social and political reform. Highly readable and endlessly fascinating. ~ Reviewed by Cheryl Cornwell
A brilliant collection of short stories by one of my favorite authors. Ishiguro's simple prose belies the feelings of utter loss and desolation that remain just below the surface of each of his five interconnected stories. This is a collection that deserves to be read and reread. ~ Reviewed by Cheryl Cornwell
Museum of Innocence is Orhan Pamuk's most passionate and compulsively readable novel to date. Kemal and Fusun's story takes place at the intersection of East and West, wealth and poverty. As Kemal recounts the loss of Fusun and his struggle to transcend Turkish social constraints in hopes of reclaiming his love, his undying obsession is made manifest in the museum that he erects to the memory of their impulsive and ultimately destructive desire. ~ Reviewed by Cheryl Cornwell
Simple, beautiful prose infused with passion, longing, and desire. This novella is deliciously sensual in a way that only Ernaux could write. Along with Marguerite Duras, Ernaux is one of my favorite authors. ~ Reviewed by Cheryl Cornwell

Duras paints the chilling, erotic portrait of a troubled woman haunted by a cruel past. This is Durasian prose at its best! ~ Reviewed by Cheryl Cornwell
Hypnotically disturbing, Kassandra and the Wolf is a series of 56 vignettes told from the perspective of a young girl. Childhood experiences seen through the eyes of Kassandra are dark and twisted--pushing the boundary between fantasy and reality. The world that Kassandra inhabits is one of self-imposed silence and internalized emotions stemming from abuse and parental neglect. Both damaged and resilient, Kassandra prowls the darkest corners of a unique human experience that explores her understanding of human life and love. ~ Reviewed by Cheryl Cornwell
