Summer Art Camp with Vermont Arts Exchange, Session #1 Sculpture

The Art Bus from Vermont Arts Exchange is visiting the Northshire Bookstore from Tuesday, August 14th, through Wednesday August 15th, to  offer artists, ages 8-12 years old four exciting classes to help celebrate these last days of summer.
Each class is $40.00 and includes all materials.
Class passes are on sale now at the main service desk in the bookstore.
Please reserve your place by purchasing your ticket no later than Friday, August 10th.

Session #1 Sculpture:

 Climb aboard the Art Bus and create your very own 3-D Sculpture, designed by you, carved by you, and created from a single, square block of rigid foam. Sculptures will then be sealed and finished with a special cement coating, resulting in a very firm, stone like finish. These versatile creations can be exhibited outside, hung inside on a wall or even spun in the air! Please join us for this dynamic morning of creative sculpture and play!

Vermont Arts Exchange offers a very rich summer art camps for youth in North Bennington. On special occasions, the VAE Art Bus, (a traveling studio),  hits the road and travels New England offering art making at concerts, festivals and many other community sites. We are very excited to be hosting the VAE Art Bus at Northshire Bookstore.
