A wonderful classic that a young girl with any intelligence will disappear inside of for days. A young girl survives a troubled home life by discovering nature and herself in the Limberlost swamp. This is a gem similar in tone and emotional and intellectual content to Anne Of Green Gables or Little House On The Prairie

Little Brother is, in my personal opinion, Cory Doctorow's best work. This novel is not for the faint of heart as it tells the story of 17 year old boy in the near future. This is a dark and intricate story involving a mysterious rare book and its author. It takes place in post revolution 1950's Barcelona and is full of gothic images and interesting characters. The plot twists are many and the overall effect is gripping and sensual. It is certainly a different atmosphere from what we are used to in a modern novel. I loved it.
