*HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION* Dexter Filkins is a veteran reporter par excellence and The Forever War, his chronicle of the ongoing military campaigns in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the "war on terror," unreels in candid vignettes that never fail to stir and horrify with heartrending perspicacity. Destined to become a classic of war reportage, a la Michael Herr's Dispatches, this book is a must-read.

Michael Schiavo is the author of The Mad Song and is an editor (and designer) of the literary journal Tight. He's worked in the book industry since 2000 and has over 40,000 songs in his iTunes library.
