A most powerful and unforgettable memoir! When he was 18 years old the author killed a girl in an unavoidable accident. This is his story about the rest of his life and how he dealt with the trauma, the guilt and the profound effect this had on every waking moment, every relationship, and every decision he has had to make since then. This is a book you should take your time with and read with compassion.

 Walking in the woods with my pup, kayaking, reading good books and listening to music that stirs my soul are my passions in life. Actually my idea of a good day kayaking is parking myself in a sunny spot on a pond, hanging my legs over the side of the kayak and opening a book!
I love to read fiction, biography and memoirs with a smattering of history and true adventure thrown in the mix. I love all kinds of music as long as it lights a fire in my soul and makes me want to sing!
