Northshire Bookstore ReviewReviewed By... Alden GravesA blood transfusion has the unfortunate side effect of turning a priest into a vampire. It isn't easy to hold on to the old values when the urge to help mankind is conflicted by the need to partake of it. Stylish, quite graphic, and frequently funny movie from the director of Old Boy. This intelligent horror film makes the teen-angst antics of the Twilight movies pale in comparison. The best of ... read more>>>

Northshire Bookstore ReviewReviewed By... Alden GravesEudora Welty's bittersweet account of the demise of an influential Southern gentleman and the effects of his death upon his family is one of my favorite books. Northshire Bookstore ReviewReviewed By... Alden GravesCash chose the cuts on this CD from a list she was given by her father. Although Rosanne was largely unfamiliar with them, Johnny Cash felt that the songs should be considered an integral part of her musical heritage. Alden Graves
A native Vermonter, Alden works in the music department at the Northshire.
He is also in charge of the DVDs and tries very hard to have titles that customers might not readily find elsewhere. He loves film, especially ones that have either trains or Elizabeth Taylor in them. Alden contributes a weekly column on the movies to the Bennington Banner. His other interests include shipwrecks, Jack the Ripper, Peggy Lee, and real country music. Other staff members at the Northshire are very tolerant as he rambles on about the Andrea Doria and they probably know a lot more about the Ripper than they ever thought they would.
