This is a genuine nail-biter with a gentle and thoughtful side. The author tells a tale (which ends well by the way) about a writer's relationship with his dog during the time he was writing his novel The Poet Of Tolstoy Park, (which was a great favorite of mine). Good reading for dog-lovers and novel-lovers alike
