Archer Mayor In Mayor's new novel, a series of arsons in northeast Vermont lead Joe Gunther and Willy Kunkle to Newark, New Jersey, where they show the big city police what two country cops can do. As usual, the initial crimes lead to greater evils, which threaten Joe's personal life.
