This fantastically simple and irreverent narrative, along with pitch perfect drawings and typography, is a nod to the written word and the wonderful satisfaction of holding a real book in your hands. The laugh-out-loud ending will catch you by surprise. Brilliant!

When a fairy that has lost her wings can no longer fly, she must find some creative ways to protect herself. Flory (no taller than an acorn and still breaking in her wings) learns that the world is big, beautiful and dangerous. But she is a fighter and has to survive any way she can. Amazing illustrations accent this magical tale.

The Duchess of Whimsy is fancy and fussy and definitely not ordinary. The Earl of Norm is very ordinary, but he really is very taken by the Duchess. Can these two be friends? A wonderful story of differences and how two people can become friends because maybe something as simple as grilled cheese sandwiches may not be so ordinary after all!
