Once again the Haywards teach us by example. Lovely photographs and detailed illustrations, sound advice and their usual pervasive combination of hard work and humor make reading and owning this book compulsory for anyone who gardens in the Northeast. Somehow they are able to communicate the endless possibilities of a gardening life without overwhelming the "garden dreamer".
