Finn, the father of the famed Huckleberry Finn is the darkest of dark, lowest of low characters in fiction. He is a drunk, a racist, a murderer, who truly only thinks of himself and his own gain. There is nothing pretty about this tale, no glimmers of light but in the end you may find yourself feeling a little sympathetic towards this despicable man. Maybe it is just pity. It is a fascinating read!
