In this charming memoir, Miller recounts her double life as a successful New York literary agent and the almost accidental owner of Consider Bardwell Farm in nearby West Pawlet, producer of award-winning cheeses. A humorous, informative, inspiring book - with recipes. Louise Jones

For simple, great-tasting, can't-miss recipes, this, and its precursor, Everyday Food: Great Food Fast, cannot be beat. The team that creates this series (yes, that would be Martha's team) really know what they are doing. The photography, layout, and text for each recipe all work together very seductively. "Cook me" each page says. Haven't been disappointed yet.
