A burnt out Waspy Paris Review editor along with his wife and her Korean immigrant parents buy a deli in Brooklyn. A well written, very funny and touching look at life behind the counter. An extremely bossy mother-in-law, an array of local characters/customers and sneaky Health Department Officials keep the family constantly on the move in this very entertaining memoir.
