Learning to count has never been more fun or more vibrant. Starting with 10 and working his way down to one "kick-up-your-hooves" barn dance, Jackson shows cows in various situations situated in the lush Vermont landscape. Available in a convenient board book size. Jackson fans--or those who are just discovering him for the first time--can count along with their little ones and have fun too.

As most of Kinsey-Warnock's stories, this is based on actual events. It is Vermont, 1927, and one the most devastating floods in the history of the state has happened. Any age can have this read to them or be read by themselves. It is great for adults, too. The illustrations soften the seriousness by being bright and fun illustrations. Kinsey-Warnock is a must have in any collection.
